Last week we joined friends, family, and colleagues to celebrate 20 years of Garvin Design Group. Thank you to Southern Way for a magnificent spread, Crisp Event Rental for the perfect setting, Sound and Images for ensuring our audiovisuals were crisp and clear, and Station Seven Band for creating a truly celebratory vibe.

Our talented teammate Michael and his studio partner Morgan (a former GDG intern) are this year`s winners of the American Institute of Architects` ASPIRE Student Design Award!
Michael and Morgan`s design for Foster Forward, a supportive transitional space for youth aging out of Georgia`s foster care system, engages surrounding services, adapts to the area`s changing needs, and utilizes public spaces as a platform for personal growth and community engagement. The campus program includes an expansive courtyard, a café, a gallery, a bike shop, a dining and teaching kitchen, counseling and administrative offices, a gym, residential spaces, and career and resource centers.
