Andrew Rogerson

AIA, LEED AP

Architect

 

Andrew obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Clemson University in 2008. His education extended beyond the borders of the US when he studied abroad for a semester in Newcastle, Australia. After completing his undergraduate degree, he worked as an intern for two years in the Columbia area. During that time, he passed the exam to become a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional. To further his commitment to sustainable design, Andrew earned his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon in 2012 with a focus in sustainable urbanism. He has been an instrumental part of several Garvin Design Group projects, including Palmetto Compress, First Community Bank, 612 Whaley, City Market, and 1649 Main Street. Andrew completed the 7 division Architectural Registration Exam (ARE) and is a registered architect. Beyond the studio, Andrew likes to scuba dive, surf, and spend time with his 3-year-old son Porter and new baby daughter Maeve. He also enjoys traveling to new places like Australia and the Middle East, and recently added Italy to his travel list.
