Architecture

Hailing from Trichy, India, Jerome holds a professional architect license in his home country. He graduated in 2020 from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology in Chennai, India, earning a Bachelor’s in Architecture. During his time in his undergraduate studies, Jerome was involved in several clubs including the Design Club and the National Association of Students of Architecture (NASA).

Jerome’s interest in sports venue design helped him discover the many architectural opportunities in the United States, which inspired him to move to South Carolina. He further pursued his academic journey at Clemson University and received his Master of Architecture in 2023. Soon after graduating, Jerome was granted the Harlan E. McClure Award for Architecture. During his studies at Clemson Simiyon spent a year in Charleston participating in the Community Build Program, where he was involved in community-oriented design-build and service-learning projects. During his time with the program, Jerome designed and helped to build a pavilion for Frierson Elementary School in Wadmalaw Island, Charleston. He also spent a year as an intern at Bello-Garris Architects in Charleston.

In his free time, Jerome enjoys traveling, skydiving, hiking, and playing frisbee; so much so that he was a member of the intramural frisbee team at Clemson.
