Hailing from Trichy, India, Jerome Simiyon holds a professional architect license in his home country. He earned a Bachelor’s in Architecture from the Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology in Chennai, India, where he was involved in the Design Club and the National Association of Students in Architecture. Jerome’s interest in sports venue design drew him to opportunities in the United States. He completed his Master of Architecture at Clemson University and spent a semester in Charleston with the Architecture + CommunityBUILD program. During his time in Charleston, Jerome designed and helped build a pavilion for Frierson Elementary School on Wadmalaw Island. Jerome earned Clemson’s prestigious Harlan E. Jerome joined Garvin Design Group in 2023 and quickly became an indispensable designer on several athletics projects. His recent projects include Coastal Carolina University’s new Indoor Practice Facility and several restaurant and hotel concepts.

In his free time, Jerome enjoys traveling, skydiving, hiking, and playing frisbee, a passion he fostered as part of Clemson’s intramural frisbee team.  Jerome’s recent adventure to see the Summer Olympics in Paris has inspired him to pursue future European travel.
