Interior Designer

 

Liza Brockman grew up in Columbia and pursued her passion for design through undergraduate studies at Clemson University and graduate school at the University of Oregon. While on the West Coast, she balanced working full-time as an interior designer with teaching part-time in the Interior Architecture department at the University of Oregon.

Liza joined Garvin Design Group in 2017, doubling the firm’s Interiors team and capacity. She blends her expertise in architecture and interior architecture to create functional solutions that maintain their appeal for years to come and enhance the quality of life and culture of building users. Liza’s recent projects include Coastal Carolina University’s Thompson Library, SCRA Greenville, Terminix Corporate Headquarters, Vikor Scientific, and Clemson’s Women’s Sports Program Expansion and Littlejohn Gymnastics Locker Room.

Beyond the studio, Liza dedicates time to furthering the interior design profession through education by volunteering with the Council for Interior Design Accreditation. She graduated from Leadership Columbia in 2022 and is an active member of the International Interior Design Association’s Columbia City Center chapter. Liza enjoys soaking up the sun with her family and friends and cheering on the Clemson Tigers.
