Sam Lowrie

Architecture

 

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Sam Lowrie graduated from Lexington High School in 2020 and completed her undergraduate studies at Clemson University in May of 2024. In addition to her major in Architecture, Sam earned a minor in Visual Arts. She served as a Visual Information Design Intern during her spring 2023 semester at Clemson and as a mentor for first-year Architecture students. Sam was nominated for the School of Architecture’s prestigious Rudolph E. Lee Award and received a design merit award during her senior synthesis studio for best social and community engagement.

Beyond her academic studies, Sam is a former employee and active volunteer with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia. She worked for Ronald McDonald House for four years as House Manager where she helped to run their Pack-A-Smile program, and now returns often to volunteer. In her free time, Sam enjoys drawing, hiking with her dog Barkley, watching and attending Clemson sporting events, and going to concerts.

Sam plans to pursue a graduate degree and licensure.
